Dean Malcom lives in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Born in Ebb and Flow First Nation (Ojibwa), Dean comes from a musical background "The Flett Family". Grandfather Walter Flett (Fiddle Player), Uncle Jimmy Flett (Guitar Player) and Uncle Teddy Boy Houle (Fiddle Player) are all respected musicians. Dean has been playing professionally since the age of 17 years old. He has played with; Bert Todd, Robbie Brass, C-Weed Band, and Free Bird Band. In the millenium of 2000, Dean placed first in a fiddle contest at the famous Metis Festival "Back to Batoche" located in Saskatchewan and place 2nd the following year. He is a free-lance musician with plans of staring his own band this upcoming year.
